Vocabulary Homework:
Your child will receive one worksheet, which is handed out on Monday or the first day of the school week. Each night they will need to complete a different task using the words of the week. The student is responsible for completing the different problems on it throughout the week and turning it in on Friday for credit. I would also encourage you to study nightly with child.
Reading Homework:
I encourage every student to read nightly for 15-30 minutes. The more we read the more we know!
Math Homework:
Our math homework typically consists of one worksheet, which is handed out on Monday or the first day of the school week. This worksheet is due on Friday or the last day of the week. The student is responsible for completing the different problems on it throughout the week and turning it in completed for credit. I would greatly encourage the students to study their multiplication tables every night. We will be working our way through mastering 0-12 times tables. Multiplication is a CRUCIAL fourth grade skill!
